QLEIBO, MOUNIR (1960-)

born in Jerusalem on 7 Jan. 1960; received a BA in Business Administration from Birzeit University in 1983; worked as Coordinator and Lecturer at the Dept. of  Business Administration at the Ibrahimieh Community College in Jerusalem from 1984-89; continued his studies and earned an MA in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Columbia, South Carolina, in 1991; returned and became Dean of the Ibrahimieh Community College, serving in that post from 1991-94; worked as Chief of Cabinet at the Palestinian Ministry of Finance in 1995; joined the UNDP/Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (PAPP) in 1996; received an Associate Degree in cross-sector partnerships, University of Cambridge, UK 2003; currently works as Head of the Governance and Public Sector Unit at the UNDP/PAPP; manager of the UN Volunteer (UNV) Program and the Program on Transfer of Knowledge Through Expatriate Nationals (TOKTEN), which has brought almost 500 expatriate Palestinian professionals to Palestine since 1994; was invited to assist in establishing similar TOKTEN programs in Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Somalia, and Iraq; is in charge of the UN Volunteer Palestinian Program since 2000;  has co-authored Guidebook to Volunteerism in Palestine in 2003; led the team that conceived, produced and published the book Palestine: A Guide (Interlink Books, 2005).

قليبو، منير (1960- ) من مواليد القدس عام 1960؛ حاصل على شهادة بكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال من جامعة بيرزيت عام 1983؛ عمل كمنسق وكمحاضر في دائرة إدارة الأعمال في الكلية الإبراهيمية المجتمعية بالقدس لخمس سنوات (1984-1989)؛ تابع دراسته العليا وحاز على شهادة الماجستير في قيادة التعليم العالي من جامعة كولومبيا، ساوث كارولينا، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، عام 1991؛ عاد وأصبح عميد الكلية الإبراهيمية المجتمعية لثلاث سنوات (1991-1994)؛ عمل في وزارة المالية الفلسطينية عام 1995؛ انضم إلى برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي/ برنامج تقديم المساعدة للشعب الفلسطيني عام 1996؛ حصل على درجة المشاركة في الشراكات القطاعية من جامعة كامبردج البريطانية، المملكة المتحدة، عام 2003؛ مدير دائرة مشاريع الإدارة الحكومية والعامة في برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (‎UNDP)؛ مدير برنامج متطوعي الأمم المتحدة وبرنامج نقل المعرفة من خلال المواطنين المغتربين، والذي جلب ما يقارب أل 500 مهنياً فلسطينياً مغترباً إلى فلسطين منذ عام 1994؛ تمت دعوته للمساعدة في تأسيس برامج مماثلة في لبنان، سوريا، أفغانستان، فيتنام، صوماليا، والعراق؛ مسؤول عن برنامج المتطوعين الفلسطينيين التابع للأمم المتحدة منذ عام 2000؛ قام بتأليف دليل عن التطوع في فلسطين عام 2003؛ قاد الفريق الذي أنتج ونشر كتاب فلسطين: دليل (كتب انتر لينك، 2005).
