PASSIA is a non-profit Palestinian institution based in Jerusalem. It has a financially and legally independent status and is not affiliated with any government, political party or organization.

PASSIA seeks to present the Palestine Question in its national, Arab and international contexts through academic research, dialogue and publication.

PASSIA endeavors that its seminars, symposia and workshops, whether international or intra-Palestinian, be open, self-critical and conducted in a spirit of harmony and cooperation.

PASSIA's Leadership Program aims at empowering young leaders to deal more effectively with the tasks and specific problems ahead. The overall goal is to prepare future leaders to promote public needs rather than political favors, understand the breadth of perspective on issues, assume responsibility and exercise sound decision-making.

The PASSIA program on Leadership and International Relations is kindly supported by a US grant via the Public Affairs Section of the American Consulate in Jerusalem.
