Peaceful Management of Transboundary Resources.

Dr. Abdul Hadi was unfortunately unable to attend this conference which addressed the problems of environmental resources and how they can be shared to the best advantage of all concerned. Regional conflicts, their environmental impact and possible solutions to conflict via the necessity of shared resources was also addressed. Developmental issues using natural resources in a way that improves the standard of living in any given area without actually exploiting what is available was raised as was the role of the United Nations and the World Bank.
